Two records, one claim: build a dated source log

Compare what a property information page says with what its primary source actually supports, before contacting a provider.

Start with a claim you can check

Before contacting an overseas property provider, turn an attractive statement into a narrow question. Which entity makes this claim, what does it cover, and which primary record could support it? A source log helps keep the answer separate from your impression of the website. It is a record of questions and evidence, not a certificate of trust or a recommendation to buy. Set a review boundary before you begin: one claim, two records and a clear stopping point. A blank field is useful when it honestly identifies missing evidence. Keep source references rather than personal correspondence or identifying details. This makes a later review easier without turning the exercise into a collection of buyer information or an implied endorsement of the provider.

Keep two records side by side

Create record A for the information page: its exact official domain, page title, displayed date, access date and the entity it names. Create record B for a relevant primary source, such as the competent official register. Does the entity name match exactly, or only resemble a trading name? Does the record describe the same activity and place? A registry entry alone does not validate every statement on a marketing page.

Compare dates as well as names

Ask whether each date means publication, revision or simply your own access. If no version is shown, write “version unknown”. If a page links to a document, does that document identify its issuer, scope and effective period? Keep an older observation as history when a newer source arrives. Do not silently turn yesterday’s unanswered question into today’s verified fact.

A fictional comparison

Imagine “Example Cedar”, an invented provider with no connection to a real business. Its information page calls its service “fully supported”. A fictional primary record names “Example Cedar Services”, while the page does not identify its contracting entity. Those names might relate, but the log cannot establish that. Mark the identity match unresolved. Ask what “supported” means and where a contractual obligation is written; do not convert the phrase into an assurance.

Separate a message from an obligation

Which statements are promotional, and which appear in the actual proposed contract? Ask who would supply the service, what would trigger fees, and which exclusions or cancellation terms apply. What is included in the total cost, what remains an estimate, and who would explain applicable taxes, professional charges, recurring costs and currency conversion? A missing answer belongs in the unresolved column, not in a guessed total.

Choose a careful next step

A useful log ends with a decision: obtain a dated primary document, seek independent advice, or pause. If contact later becomes appropriate, would you reach the provider through its independently checked official site, and understand who receives information there? Do not submit personal details merely to complete this exercise. UWAYZI RE currently offers informational material with referrals inactive; it does not collect buyer details or purchase funds. These verification questions are not jurisdiction-specific legal, tax or investment advice, and no transaction or return is guaranteed.

Five useful questions

Does a matching name prove the provider is suitable?

No. Scope, current status, contracting identity and your circumstances still need separate assessment.

What if the page has no update date?

Record the access date and mark publication or version unknown; access is not proof of currency.

Should I choose the more polished source?

Compare authority, scope and traceable evidence. Presentation quality cannot settle a factual conflict.

Must I enter personal details in this log?

No. Keep source references and questions only; do not add buyer, identity or bank information.

What if the two records disagree?

Preserve both references, describe the conflict precisely and pause the decision until the relevant evidence is clarified.
